We had a great weekend with Charles & Jane at Jeep Beach
held at the Daytona Speedway. There were
lots of vendors set up and, yes, Jim spent money because you can never have
enough "stuff" for a Jeep.
They were trying to break a Guinness record for the longest Jeep parade. Unfortunately, they fell short by a couple
hundred Jeeps with only 2008 participating in the parade. We were able to line up with the other Jeeps
and "parade" around the racetrack.
I was amazed at how much the track banks.
We only drove on the inside track.
It's my understanding that you have to keep your speed at 90mph in order
to not "fall off" the outside track.
I think I could have put my hand out the window and touched the banked track!
